Exotic Metals
With high melting temperature Tungsten (W), Molybdenum (Mo), which also has high properties such as high melting and boiling point, high thermal resistance, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion, Niobium (Nb) which is a ductile and shiny metal, also known as Colombium (Nb), Hafnium (Hf), Vanadium (V), Zirconium (Zr) which can be found in many different compounds, Magnesium (Mg) which is much lighter than aluminum, we call Exotic Metals.
Cryogenic Process
In high carbon cold work tool steels, when the martensitic transformation is completed at minus degrees, a cryogenic process is applied to minimize the amount of residual austenite.
Thanks to this process applied at -196 degrees, the toughness and wear resistance of the materials are particularly purified.
