1.4112 / DIN X90CrMoV18 / AISI 440B is a high carbon and chromium member of the stainless steels family. Due to its high carbon content, it provides high mechanical strength values ​​after heat treatment as well as corrosion resistance. Hardening and abrasion resistance is good.

1.4112 / DIN X90CrMoV18 / AISI 440B is used in the manufacture of all kinds of cutting tools that require corrosion resistance, applications requiring wear and corrosion resistance together, bearings, gauges, molds, valve components, blades and measuring instruments. It is used in glass molds, pumps and plastic industry.

After heat treatment, it gets hardness up to 58 HRc. Tempering below 400 yüksekC is required for optimum corrosion resistance and high strength
