1.4114 / DIN X6CrMoS19-2 – AISI XM34 – UNS S18200
1.4114 is stainless steel with Ni <2.5% and Mo but without Nb and Ti. Depending on the environment and has good workability and good ferromagnetic properties.
It has a microstructure consisting of ferritic: ferrite, chromium carbides and MnS inclusions provided in the annealed (softened) state.
1.4114 grade steel is heated slowly to 850 ° C in the forging process and then to 1100/1130 ° C more rapidly. It is forged between 1130 ° C and 750 ° C.
Areas of application are: in buildings (screws, bolts, door handles), food processing (solenoid valve), automotive (various parts, sensors, etc.)
