(UNS N02200 / W.Nr. 2.4060 and 2.4066 / Alloy 200 Alloy 233 / Nickel 200 Nickel 233) is commercially pure (99.6%) machined nickel. It has good mechanical properties and excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. Other useful properties of the alloy are its magnetic and magnetostrictive properties, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content, and low vapor pressure.

Corrosion resistance of (UNS N02200 / W.Nr. 2.4060 and 2.4066 / Alloy 200 Alloy 233 / Nickel 200 Nickel 233) is to maintain product purity in the transport of foods, synthetic fibers and caustic alkalis, as well as in structural applications where corrosion resistance is an important element especially useful for. Other applications include chemical transport drums, electrical and electronic components, aviation and missile components.
