2.4663 / Inconel 617 / Alloy 617 is a material with high temperature mechanical strength and oxidation resistance. This material, which is formed by the combination of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and cobalt elements, is highly resistant to corrosive environment. It can be used easily in the place to be welded without any extra process.

Thanks to its high chromium and nickel content, 2.4663 / Inconel 617 / Alloy 617 has a good corrosion resistance in harsh conditions. The small amount of aluminum element in its alloy combines with chromium, allowing it to withstand high temperatures. In addition, cobalt and molybdenum make the material extra strong. Preferred at locations above 980 ° C, 2.4663 / Inconel 617 / Alloy 617 is also designated UNS N06617. It is frequently used in combustion chambers, aviation and gas turbine air pass regulators, catalyst grids in nitric acid production, heat treatment baskets, power generation plants, petrochemical industry.
