2.4854 / ALLOY HR-120 – UNS N08120 – NiFe33Cr25Co – HAYNES HR-120
2.4854 / Alloy HR120 / Haynes HR120 (UNS N08120) is a solid solution reinforced heat resistant alloy that provides excellent high temperature strength and excellent strength against combined carburizing and sulfidizing environments. Its oxidation resistance is comparable to other commonly used Fe-Ni-Cr materials such as Alloy 330 and Alloy 800H, but its strength is significantly higher at temperatures up to 1095 ºC (2000 ºF) even compared to Ni-Cr alloys. 2.4854 / Alloy HR 120 / Haynes HR 120 can be easily hot or cold formed and commonly welded using 2.4854 filler wire.
Applications include those that require high strength and include good resistance to carburizing and sulfidizing environments. 2.4854 / Alloy HR-120 / Haynes HR-120 Bar Frame Heat Treatment Baskets, Radiant Tubes, Wire Mesh Furnace Belts and Basket Liners, Cast Connection Belt Pins, Muffle, Retort, Recuperators, Heat Treatment Fixtures, Fluid Bed Components, Waste Incinerators .
Unless otherwise specified, the 2.4854 / Alloy HR 120 / Haynes HR 120 alloy is in the solution annealed state. Depending on the product form, it is annealed at a temperature between 1175 and 1230 °C (2150 to 2250 °F) and rapidly cooled.
