MARAGING 350 / ALLOY 350 – UNS S35000
Alloy 350 / Maraging 350 is a relatively soft yet extremely hard nickel-bonding alloy. Maraging 350 (UNS S35000) can be easily processed and shaped to your specifications. Additionally, the aging process raises the hardness to a level sufficient for many tooling applications.
Maraging 350 / Alloy 350 is essentially a non-carbon nickel / cobalt steel alloy, other alloying elements include moly, aluminum, and titanium. This combination meets AMS 6512 specifications and AMS 6514 and MIL-S-46850 specifications.
Maraging 350 / Alloy 350 is an extremely durable, easily nitrided, resistant to corrosion and crack propagation, excellent clean and polishable, easily weldable steel. Missile and rocket engine bodies, wind tunnel models, landing gear components, high-performance shaft, gears and fasteners are the main industrial application areas.
